“Ok, Mrs. Griffard, you’re going to have this baby soon,” said the nurse as she moved around the bed and pushed back the sheets.
“This really hurts!” Mom said. “When is the doctor going to put me out?”
“Oh no, we don’t do that anymore.”
“What do you mean? I was put out for my other four!”
“No, you’ll have to help push this baby out.”
“You gotta be kidding. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! This hurts! Ow, ow, ow! I feel like I’m going to be split apart! This is painful!”
And that’s how I came into the world 44 years ago.

Happy birthday! How nice of you to share your own birth story.
Happy Birthday, dear sister…
I’d like to remind you that I remember going to church and praying for “a baby sister.” Now, give credit where credit is due! 🙂
And, to add an interesting fact about your “birth” date: you were born on August 13th, a friday, (8/13); weighed in at 8 lbs. and 8 oz. and was born at 8:13 a.m.
You were called, “Rosebud Lips” until it was no longer “hip”!
Happy Birthday…Love YOU!
Sorry, you weighed in at 8 lbs. and 13 oz. Got that messed up.
Jeanie, dear, I was a skinny 6 pounds 13 ounces. Wishing I was skinny again! Love u!
Hi birthday girl>>.Your sister Jeanie was wrong about the time…….You were a Lucky 13 baby girl….. born in the afternoon at 2.13 p.m. at 6 punds and 13 ounces, on Aug 13, 1965….Mom felt very lucky that day!!!!!!
You came home with beautiful black curly hair the same hair I had when I was born 60 years ago!!!!
