True Life: I’m Deaf
Do you have severe or total deafness? Are you a deaf student, about to graduate and go out into the world on your own for the very first time? Or are you currently attending a school for the deaf but about to transition to a mainstream school? Perhaps you’re trying to find a job but experiencing difficulty because you are deaf? Are you hoping to get a cochlear implant or to be fitted for a hearing aid to significantly improve your ability to hear? Are you a member of an advocacy group, fighting to gain more rights or assistance for deaf people?
If you fit any of these descriptions, MTV and Gigantic! Productions want to hear your story.
MTV’s True Life is a long-running, award-winning documentary series where young people share their stories in their own words. We hope that, by allowing people to tell their stories and communicate directly with their peers, we can impact the way people interact and engage with the world they live in.

shld this deaf related show be slanted from non-Deaf frame of reference, or be balanced ? of course, balanced wld be better with whichever side win out…be objective, please

really ,i love mtv when i was young age and i made loudest mtv music on tv and my favorate zztop but dang no closed captions but i love actions movement and i would like to ask you if you can make closed caption for zztop and in future there will be deaf music with sign langauge will be greatest for young age so we can watch lots movement sign langauge. i remember when i was young and there is under stage with vibrate hook up with quitar and drummer can feel it beat beat stage. my own song mostly time i sign myself ” eagle fly around in usa thru naval homes everywhere until out of world found sweet home state nest became peace. i raise myself songs many things when my parent moved differents 13 states and japan and cuba. and i had lots different topic songs when i raise song but i never stop singing my own time. long time ago i look i wish i want be mtv with sign langauge songs my dream.
